Gunslinger Auctions is proud to support the Happy Trails Children’s Foundation, a Southern California nonprofit established under the legacy of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Founded as the Victor Valley Child Abuse Task Force in 1982 and renamed in 1992 to honor the participation of the King of the Cowboys and the Queen of the West, the Foundation operates the Cooper Home in Apple Valley, California, a long-term residential care and treatment facility for severely abused boys between the ages of 10 and 16.

The Cooper Home operates at maximum capacity serving 44 boys at a time, with a lengthy waiting list. These are children removed from their homes by Child Protective Services and placed by the courts into an intensive program of group and individual therapy, set on 40 acres of High Desert land in Apple Valley. Since opening in 1997, the Cooper Home has provided shelter, care, and treatment services to more than 850 children. The Foundation’s mission is straightforward: break the chain of abuse before it carries into the next generation.

In our September 2024 auction, items generously donated by Joel “Dutch” Dortch, historian, author, and Executive Director of the Happy Trails Children’s Foundation, raised over $25,000 on behalf of the Cooper Home. It was a privilege to put our bidder base to work for a cause this close to home, and we look forward to continuing that support.

Gunslinger Auctions and Gunslinger's Gun Shop are proud official business affiliates of the California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA). This relationship is formally recognized in CRPA's county directories, including the Orange County Business Affiliate Guide for our auction house and the Los Angeles County Business Affiliate Guide for our retail location in Azusa. From our earliest involvement, we have supported CRPA's work in protecting Second Amendment rights, advancing firearm safety education, and promoting responsible gun ownership throughout California.

At every Gunslinger Auctions event, a dedicated CRPA booth is present with representatives available to answer questions, assist with memberships, and provide updates on current advocacy efforts. We also contribute substantial quantities of ammunition to support CRPA's Youth Shooting Sports programs, which include a wide network of competitive teams, training initiatives, and affiliated youth organizations across California, helping young Californians participate in safe, structured marksmanship training and competitive shooting events.

Through consistent event support, direct program contributions, and our longstanding affiliate relationship, Gunslinger Auctions and Gunslinger's Gun Shop remain aligned with the principles the CRPA has upheld since 1875: preserving the right to keep and bear arms while promoting safety, education, and participation in the shooting sports.

Highway 39 Event Center is the venue where every Gunslinger Auctions live auction takes place. Located at 1563 S State College Blvd in Anaheim, California, the facility provides the space and infrastructure that a full-scale firearms and collectibles auction requires, from staging and lot display to bidder seating and checkout logistics.

The relationship between Gunslinger Auctions and Highway 39 extends beyond the auction floor. Jeff Taverner has served as the auctioneer for a number of the charity and community events hosted at the venue over the years, lending his experience on the block to causes and organizations throughout Southern California. It is a collaboration rooted in the community, one that continues to grow with each event.

Gunslinger Auctions is officially listed as a local dealer on the Blue Book of Gun Values website, the firearms industry's most widely recognized pricing and valuation reference. Published annually since 1981 and covering over one million individual firearms, the Blue Book sets the standard for market pricing that collectors, dealers, and auctioneers rely on to establish accurate values. Our presence in their dealer directory reflects a shared commitment to transparent, data-driven firearms valuation, and connects Gunslinger Auctions to a nationwide network of collectors and industry professionals who treat the Blue Book as their definitive pricing authority.

E-Z Flow Foam is our packaging partner for outbound shipments, covering the packing and protection side of every order that leaves our facility. Firearms, accessories, collectibles: if it ships from Gunslinger, it ships in E-Z Flow Foam packaging. Before the switch, we ran a transit damage rate of roughly 2% across high-volume cycles. For most operations that might be acceptable. For us it wasn't. Every lot that ships carries a condition grade and a buyer's trust behind it. Since partnering with E-Z Flow Foam, that rate has dropped to near zero. Fewer damage claims, fewer escalations, stronger confidence in every lot that leaves our auction house. When you bid on a Gunslinger lot, you're counting on it arriving the way it was graded. E-Z Flow Foam is how we make good on that.
