Compliance Specialist

About the Role
Gunslinger Auctions, Orange, CA.
Manages all California DOJ DROS processing and ATF Form 4473 paperwork for the operation. Reviews and corrects coworker paperwork in strict accordance with state and federal law. This role owns the compliance standard. Accuracy is mandatory.
Applicants must be fully capable of independently processing DROS and 4473 paperwork without guidance. Those who cannot clearly demonstrate hands-on experience with both processes will not be considered.
Schedule
This position is open to part-time or full-time arrangements — schedule and hours are flexible and negotiable based on your availability. We are outcome-focused: consistent, accurate work is what matters.
Reference hours: Tuesday and Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Must be 21 or older.
Requirements
- Must know the CA DOJ DROS process and ATF 4473 inside and out - no exceptions
- Prior experience in an FFL-licensed firearms retail or auction environment required
- 21 years of age or older
- Responsible for verifying and correcting paperwork across the entire team
- Strong attention to detail and zero tolerance for compliance errors
