This fine condition circa 1911 beautifully engraved Colt Model 1903 pocket hammerless semi-auto pistol in .32 Rimless Smokeless caliber with a 3.75″ barrel displays ~85% black blued finish to the gun’s parts with niter blued trigger & lockback lever. The two piece factory pearl grips are fine with an approximate 1/2″ x 1/4″ fissure to the mid-back of the right grip panel. The scroll style engraving & markings are sharp, the action is crisp & the bore/rifling are near fine w/ light scattered areas of erosion. Comes with a reproduction two piece black cardboard box w/ copy of a Colt label on the inside of the lid. Lot 294: BELGIAN BROWNING R. KOWALSKI ENGRAVED SUPERPOSED DIANA GRADE 12 GAUGE O/U SHOTGUN, THREE-BARREL SET
Outstanding Belgian Browning Superposed Diana grade O/U shotgun, 12 gauge, 30″ ventilated Broadway rib barrels with 2 3/4″ chambers choked IC/IM, ivory bead front sight, blue finish on the barrels, finely engraved receiver finished in French Grey, deluxe walnut two-piece pistol grip stock with attractive figure in the butt and beavertail fore end with Deeley style lever release, gold single selective trigger with shoe added,auto ejectors, clear factory markings. The lot includes a factory Browning luggage case with faux sheepskin lining in fine condition, an extra set of 28″ ventilated Broadway rib 12 gauge barrels with a 2 3/4″ chamber both with Skeet chokes, set of 30″ ventilated rib 20 gauge barrels with 2 3/4″ chambers and IC/IM chokes and associated packaging materials. Mfg in 1968, the shotgun is in fine overall condition, retaining 97%-98% factory finish on the barrels with light handling marks, small scuffs and modest edge wear. The receiver is finely engraved with game scenes depicting game birds on three sides, signed “R. KOWALSKI” on both sides. The stock is in fine condition with indentations, scrapes and scuffs consistent with field use. The butt displays attractive fiddleback figure. The buttstock ends with an adjustable Morgan smooth rubber butt plate, providing a 14″ LOP. All three sets of barrels display bright bores that rate fine and may clean. The action is crisp and locks up securely. Richard Kowalski was a well known engraver for FN/Browning in the 1960’s and 70’s. (C&R).
Lot 325: RARE HISTORIC ARMS LLC WWII ERA BRITISH BREN MK 1 .303 BRITISH CAL., SEMI-AUTO RIFLE w/ ACCESSORIES
This very good condition British World War II era 1943-dated Bren Mk 1 LMG, rebuilt as a semi-automatic from an original Bren parts kit by Historic Arms LLC, is chambered in .303 British with the original 24″ Enfield-manufactured barrel chambered in .303 Brit. The metalwork displays approximately 95% matte dark grey finish with strong, even coverage to the receiver and other metal parts. The bore is bright and shows very nice, strong rifling. All original military and manufacturer proofs/markings are present and sharp. Receiver is refinished nicely, and any reweld/remanufacture markings are professionally hidden. Action cycles crisply in its semi-automatic configuration; overall fit and finish reflect a professional rebuild that retains many of the firearm’s original wartime parts. Features original Carry handle, Bipod, offset iron-sights, dust cover. Comes CA compliant, with a kydex fin grip, and a pinned 10rnd magazine (Modern).

This excellent condition circa 2003 Colt Late Third/Fourth Generation Commemorative Silver Screen Legend VII series Single Action Army revolver in .45 Colt caliber with a 4.75″ barrel displays ~98% bright nickel finish to the gun’s parts. The beautiful natural material, finely grained grips are excellent w/ a remarkably detailed carving on the right panel of a long horn steer. The markings are sharp including “Silver Screen Legends VI” inscribed on the backstrap, “.45 Colt” marked on the left side of the barrel, “Happy Trails” on the right side of the ejector rod housing plus correct Colt factory markings on the top of the barrel and left side frame flat. The action is crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. Comes w/ a beautifully carved & padded hardwood Presentation case with the image of a Western Cowboy holding a Colt Single Action Army revolver in the middle of the lid showing “Silver Screen Legends VII” inscribed over the image and “Tim Holt” marked under the image. This excellent condition circa May 1943 U.S. M1 Irwin-Pedersen semi-auto carbine in .30 carbine caliber (no magazine included) with an 18″ barrel (marked “Underwood” over “11-43” over a flaming bomb plus a “P” proof on top of the barrel) displays ~97% military finish to the gun’s parts w/ correct flat bolt, two position rear sight, fixed blade front sight (w/”ears”). The finely grained hardwood stock & handguard are also excellent showing an “F.I.A” over a small square w/ both inside a larger rectangle on the left side of the stock above the trigger group. There is also an “IR” over a flaming bomb stamping in the left side sling recess base. The markings are sharp, including “IP-PM” stamped on the left edge of the butt plate. Beretta Model MX 14 two barrel set (O/U vent rib & single barrel large vent rib) in 12 Gauge/12 Gauge w/ a 29.5″ O/U vent rib barrel & a 31.5″ single barrel large vent rib) displays ~99% black blued finish to both the O/U and the single barrel plus brightly polished actions with ejectors. The deluxe checkered hardwood butt stock is near excellent w/ fine grain patterns, an adjustable cheek piece and adjustable KICK EEZ brand hard rubber/steel butt pad/one spacer creating a LOP of 14.24″. The matching forend is also excellent. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bores are excellent. ADDITIONALLY, this lot comes w/ another O/U ventilated rib barrel set in excellent condition displaying ~99% black blued finish to the barrels (serial # 94284) in 12 Gauge w/ a 29.5″ barrel (and ejectors). This Superposed excellent condition circa 1982 Belgian-made Browning FN Herstal expertly scroll engraved dual panel scene receiver over/under shotgun in 12 gauge 2-3/4″ shells with a 28″ ventilated rib barrel assembly displays ~99% black blued finish to the barrel assembly plus coin finished receiver in the white, extractors, single trigger, trigger guard, barrel release lever, action selector switch & rear engraved connecting block of the forend to the front round of the receiver. The excellent condition outstandingly checkered & beautifully – grained hardwood butt stock & forend retain the majority of their rich oil finish. The LOP is 14.25″ with a minty factory black hard rubber butt plate present. The markings & engravings (including a detailed pair of ducks in flight on the right receiver panel & a detailed pair of pheasants on the left receiver panel) are sharp, the actions are crisp & the bores are excellent. Early Belgian Browning SA-22 Grade III takedown rifle, .22 LR cal., 19″ barrel, blue finish, gloss finished finely skipline checkered walnut two-piece pistol grip stock, intricately engraved French Grey receiver, factory dovetailed blade front and desirable, early “Wheel” rear sight, sharp takedown mechanism, gold trigger, clear factory markings with Belgian proofs on the breech block and “MADE IN BELGIUM” on top of the barrel. The rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 98-99% toning finish on the barrel with light handling marks. The receiver is finished in French Grey with intricate floral game scenes with hounds and birds on two sides and a hound with a rabbit on top. The stock is in near excellent condition with indentations and scuffs, showing light age cracks in the lacquer finish. The deluxe skipline checkering is well completed with fine detail. The buttstock ends with a ribbed blue steel butt plate, providing a 14″ LOP. The rifle appears as new in the factory box, showing only minor handling marks. Action functions smoothly with a crisp trigger. Bore is mirror bright with excellent rifling and appears to be unfired. Limited Edition Remington Model 700 M40 Commemorative Scout Sniper Association USMC Bolt Action Rifle, #SSA0378, .30-06 cal., 24″ heavy barrel, parkerized finish, smooth oil finished walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivels, no sights. The buttstock ends with a checkered aluminum Remington marked butt plate, providing a 13.5″ LOP. Factory markings are clear with “U.S.” on the left side of the front ring. Mfg in 2006. The rifle appears as new in the factory box, showing only minor handling marks. Action functions smoothly with a crisp trigger. Bore is mirror bright with excellent rifling and appears to be unfired. Includes the factory box with matching end label, decorative sleeve and associated packaging materials. Lot 219: COLT NATIONAL MATCH GOVERNMENT MODEL “US COAST GUARD” 1911A1 PISTOL, .45ACP CAL., w/FACTORY LETTER
This very good condition circa 1941 Colt National Match Government Model with adjustable sights, “U.S. COAST GUARD” marked semi-auto pistol in .45 A.C.P. caliber w/ a 5″ round barrel displays ~70% black blued finish showing scattered spots of surface pitting confined primarily to the left side of the pistol (likely from exposure to a holster at sea). The checkered hardwood grips are excellent. The markings are sharp, the action crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. IMPORTANTLY: Included with this lot is a Colt Factory letter dated October 7, 1987, signed by Colt Historian M.S. Huber confirming to this serial numbered pistol the caliber, barrel length, finish, Type of Stocks: Not Listed, Shipped To: Joseph A. Lorch, Address: Washington, D.C., Date of Shipment: April 26, 1940, Number of Same Type Guns in Shipment: 6. This fine condition circa Nov. 1942 Japanese Nambu Type 14 semi-auto pistol in 8mm Nambu caliber with a 6″ barrel & magazine numbered to this gun displays ~95% black blued finish to the gun’s parts. The grooved hardwood grips are also fine. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. Comes w/ a brown leather “clamshell” holster in fair condition w/ detached cover.
