Buyer’s premium depends on payment method: 15% for cash/check, 18% for credit card, and 25% for online bidders.

Where do I complete DROS/pick up my auction items?

All firearm paperwork and pickups must be completed at the auction house within 30 days of purchase, at 1740 W. La Veta Ave, Orange, CA.

Do you provide shipping?

Yes. We ship nationwide. Shipping costs are passed directly to the buyer. For firearms requiring FFL transfer, you must contact your preferred FFL and have them provide us a “File Copy” of their license via email ([email protected]) or Fax.

Can I bid online?

Yes. Our auctions are available through online bidding platforms like HiBid.com and Proxibid.com, in addition to live in-person bidding.

Do you accept consignments?

We are always accepting consignments. Please contact us for evaluation and terms.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards.

How long do I have to complete the DROS?

You must complete your DROS within 30 days of purchase. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the firearm.

Can out-of-state buyers purchase firearms?

Yes. Out-of-state buyers can purchase firearms, but all firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer in your state for transfer.

Are antique or “pre-98” firearms exempt from DROS?

Yes. “Pre-98” antique firearms are not considered firearms under federal law and generally do not require DROS.

Do you sell ammunition as well?

What happens if I win but don’t pay?

Non-paying bidders will forfeit their items, be reported to the bidding platforms, and may be banned from future auctions.

What if I buy a firearm that’s not California-compliant?

California residents may only purchase firearms that comply with state law. Non-compliant firearms must be shipped out of state to an FFL in a compliant jurisdiction. If you purchase an item which you cannot legally obtain, it will not be released to you. We will hang on to it and sell it for you in our next auction.

Do I need to register to bid?

Yes. All bidders must register before the auction, either online or in person, to receive a bidder number.

Is there a preview or inspection period?

Yes. All previewing takes place 30-days before the auction at our auction house. 1740 West La Veta Ave., Orange, CA 92868. No appointments required.

Are all firearms sold “as is”?

Yes. All firearms and items are sold “as is, where is” with no warranties or guarantees. We strongly recommend having a competent gunsmith which you trust inspect all firearms before you bid.

Can I return a firearm after purchase?

No. All sales are final.

How do I know if a firearm is C&R eligible?

Our catalog listings will note if a firearm qualifies as Curio & Relic (C&R). It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm eligibility with their FFL or regulatory body.

Do you handle out-of-state transfers for California buyers?

Yes. For firearms that cannot be transferred in California, we can ship to a cooperating out-of-state FFL of your choice.

Can law enforcement officers purchase off-roster handguns?

Yes. Sworn law enforcement officers with proper credentials may purchase off-roster handguns, provided all legal requirements are met.

How much time do I have to pick up my item?

All purchases must be picked up or shipped within 30 days of the auction. Items not claimed may be forfeited.

What happens if a background check is denied?

If your background check (DROS) is denied, you will forfeit the firearm and all associated payments, including buyer’s premium. The firearm will be sold on your behalf at our next auction.

Can I bid on black powder or muzzleloading firearms without a DROS?

Yes. Black powder, percussion, and most muzzleloaders are not considered modern firearms under federal law, and generally do not require DROS. Please read item descriptions carefully.

How do I consign a firearm collection?

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes. California sales tax applies to all purchases unless a valid resale certificate is provided.

Do you charge firearms excise tax?

Yes. California excise tax applies to all firearm purchases except “pre-98” or antique arms.

Can I combine shipping if I win multiple items?

Yes. We do our best to combine shipping for multiple purchases to reduce costs.

Do you sell non-firearm items (knives, militaria, collectibles)?

Yes. In addition to firearms, our auctions often include artwork, jewelry, edged weapons, militaria, and related collectibles.

Can I participate if I don’t live in California?

Absolutely. We sell worldwide and many of our bidders are from out of state. All firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL in your home state.

Do you charge storage fees if I don’t pick up right away?

Yes. Storage fees apply if items are left beyond the 30-day pickup window.

What should I bring with me to complete DROS?

You must bring a valid California photo ID, proof of residency (if required), and your FSC (Firearm Safety Certificate) unless exempt.
